The Nikolas Haus is located in the old city of Brasov, specifically in the famous Schei district. This neighborhood was historically home to a population of Bulgarians and Romanians, and has its own fascinating history. Harkening back to an earlier time of romance, mystery, and intrigue, the Nikolas Haus will spark your imagination The owners of this property found their dream home in the Schei district, after years of searching for exactly the right spot. Initially, they thought to keep this gem to themselves, but after the renovations began, and they discovered more and more of their home’s history, they knew they would have to share it with others. Originally reported as being built in the 18th century, the owners were surprised yet thrilled to discover original wood beams, clearly marked from the 17th century! After additional investigation, they came to find out their dream gem of a home was actually built in 1698. With this discovery, they vowed to remain true to the history of the home. So, with their 2021 renovation, they found ways to seamlessly blend the exquisite architectural details of centuries past with the conveniences and luxury amenities of today’s world and its discerning travelers. The result is the incomparable Nikolas Haus.
